Kid's Music
Children love music. Despite backgrounds or cultural differences, music is a universal language that allows children to express themselves in worship to God. Here at The Life Church, music is an important component of our ministry to children and we have a number of ways in which they can be involved musically.
The most common use of music would be as part of our Children’s Church hour. New and exciting worship songs are introduced to our children throughout the year. We always use physical movement along with our singing to add to the expression of worship and allow children to remember words of songs.
Our children’s choirs perform several times throughout the year in the main sanctuary. The L’il Gems Choir is composed of children 2-5 years of age. The older children from first through sixth grades make up the Kid’s Celebration Choir. A girls’ group, Girls of Grace, perform contemporary special music occasionally as well.
The highlight of the year is the annual children’s Christmas musical in December. Drama is combined with seasonal music and decorations to share the story of Christmas to audiences of parents, friends and family.
